Evelyn Betty Ulbrich

Evelyn Betty Ulbrich went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2014. Funeral Mass for Evelyn Ulbrich, 84, of La Grange  will be  eld at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2014 with interment to follow at the La Grange City Cemetery in La Grange.

A rosary will be read at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange where the family will receive guests from 4 until 6:30 p.m. Evelyn was born Nov. 19, 1929 in Fayette County to Leo Evanicky and Josephanie Mikes Evanicky. Evelyn was a Charter Member of the Catholic Daughters of America since 1966, the Ladies Alter Society, the KJZT society No. 31 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. She was a nurse and also worked as a nurse’s aide at the Carriage Inn and Monument Hill Nursing Center. Evelyn was a beloved Grandmother, a

loving wife, a compassionate friend and a nurturing mother and mother-in-law. Evelyn is survived by her four  grandchildren: Bryan Abraham, Ashlie Olazaran, Meagan Ulbrich, and Rachel Ulbrich; four great-grandchildren, Jason

Morones, Braelynn Harrell, Landin Olazaran, and Charlie Cave, daughter-in-law Linda Huron, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a daughter Joyce Abraham. Evelyn was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence Ulbrich, son, Larry Ulbrich and four brothers. Family suggests memorials to the Catholic Daughters of America and the Sacred Heart Ladies Alter Society. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
