Tuesday’s Volleyball Roundup

Fayetteville

The Fayetteville volleyball team pounded Richards 25-15, 25-11, 25-11 to improve their record to 18-8 overall and 2-2 in district. Brooklyn Jaeger had 18 kills for Fayetteville and Colby Deatherage had eight and Cloe Schulle had five. Jackie Titus had four aces. Jaeger led in blocks with 15 and Landry Wied had 24 assists.

RTC

The Round Top-Carmine volleyball team lost to Burton Tuesday, falling in three sets 25-12, 25-13, 25-18. Among the state leaders for RTC was Megan Krause, who led in kills with 10 and she also had 11 digs. Ilse Salinas had seven kills. Brooke Schobel had three kills and five digs. Kate Eilers had 17 assists and Bayley Ward had nine digs.
