Lady Leps Win Big in Giddings Tuesday

After a week of playing a pair of teams ranked in the state’s Top 3 to open district play, the La Grange volleyball team finally got to play an unranked team and the Lady Leps took full advantage, blasting Giddings on the road Tuesday night.

The La Grange girls swept the Lady Buffs 25-14, 25-18, 25-18 to improve to 18-18 overall and 1-2 in district.

La Grange’s Lanie Doyle led in kills with 12 and Becca Heinrich had 10.
