Miles

Freemon Winsten Miles, III, 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 17, 2019.

Born in El Dorado, Ariz., formerly of Houston and La Grange, he currently resided in Hot Springs Village, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by father, F.W. Miles, Jr. and mother, Thelma Hargus Miles.

He leaves a loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Starks Miles of the home; daughter, Melissa Miles Murphy (John) of Houston; a sister, Bettie Miles Bailey also of Houston along with one aunt, many nieces and nephews and friends. He was a member of Barcelona Road Baptist Church and proudly served in the U.S. Army. He retired from engineering with SWBell/AT&T Houston in 1991.

Freemon made the decision to donate his body to the Genesis Legacy Foundation for research in hopes of finding a future cure for CIDP and other currently incurable diseases. There will be no formal funeral service at this time. A private family graveside service will be held in El Dorado when research is completed with our pastor at BRBC, Dr. Jon Stubblefield, officiating.
