Calvin G. French

Calvin G. French, 89 of Warda, died on July 17, 2014 in La Grange. Calvin was born on March 4, 1925. He was retired, enjoyed hunting and fishing and attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda. Calvin is survived by two daughters; Linda Nietsche and husband Roy, Gayle Schielack and husband Rick; four grandchildren, Adam and wife Amber Nietsche, Tina and husband Troy Townsend, Greg and wife Amy Schielack, Matt and wife Liz Schielack; seven  greatgrandchildren, Gillian, Avanly and Grayson Nietsche, Kinlee Kays and Emeree Townsend,  Wyatt and Grant  Schielack. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Craver French and his parents. Visitation was held Saturday July 19, 2014 from 1 to 7 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family received visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. Interment followed in La Grange City Cemetery. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
