Donald Cicero Boehnke,79, of Muldoon died Friday, July 4, 2014 at University Medical Center Brackenridge in Austin. 
Donald was born Aug. 30, 1934 in La Grange, the son of Jesse and Ima Boehnke. He graduated from Flatonia High School in 1951 and from Texas A&M College, class of 1955. He then served in the Army in Germany from 1957 to 1959.
Donald was married to Bette Brinkman in 1958. He served Waller County as Executive Director of US Department of Agriculture, Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) until his retirement in 1989, when he moved back
to Muldoon and raised cattle. Donald was a student of Texas history, a devout Christian and member of Muldoon United
Methodist Church, a member of numerous civic organizations, as well as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Donald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bette Brinkman Boehnke; sons, Michael  Dean Boehnke and wife Sheri
of Hempstead and Mark Steven Boehnke and wife Rose of Bastrop; grandsons, Joseph Boehnke of Monahans and
Christopher Boehnke of Houston; grand-daughters, Ashley and Husband Dale Murdock of Wichita Falls, Rachel Boehnke of Houston and Amanda Boehnke of Hempstead; Greatgrandchildren, Brayden and Aubrey Murdock of Hempstead. Donald is preceded in death by his parents Jesse F. and Ima Ray Boehnke and infant brother
Jesse Jr.
