Leps Fall to Giddings, Face La Marque to Open Playoffs

Friday La Grange was trying to claim a piece of the football district title for the first time in five years.

Instead, Giddings celebrated its fifth consecutive district title at the Leps’ expense, downing La Grange 56-21.

La Grange now advances to the playoffs as the No. 3 seed out of district 12-4A, and faces a challenging first round matchup against a La Marque team that has a 6-4 record but has won four in a row.
