Winedale Could Be What it Once Was

As a former chairperson of the Winedale Advisory Council, I find your article dated July 7, 2014 (in the Houston Chronicle)

both informative and misleading. It is misleading in that it fails to describe the positive cultural and educational programs conducted in the Winedale buildings that are not connected with the early and deteriorating settler homes. Indeed, these programs were very much in keeping with the goals with Ima Hogg had in mind for the use of Winedale
