LG Girls Basketball Wins Again, Improves to 7-1

The La Grange girls basketball team played their home opener Tuesday in the same fashion they had their seven road games to start the season – fast.

With a relentless offense and a suffocating defense the Lady Leps improved their record to 7-1 with a 59-36 victory over Hallettsville.

“I am pleased right now but we can’t be satisfied,” said La Grange head coach Heath Golan. “We’ve got to keep getting better every game and we’re doing that right now. We’ve cut down on the turnovers from the beginning of the year. Expectations are high, the girls are taking that challenge and responding well.”
