RTC Volleyball Team Finishes Season as 1A State Runner-Ups

GARLAND –A season of triumph ended with some tears for the Round Top-Carmine volleyball team.

The Cubettes, who marched to the 1A state title match in Garland, fell one win short of the ultimate championship, falling Thursday in three sets to defending state champ Neches.

The Lady Tigers, who returned all their key players from their 2018 title team, downed the Cubettes 25-11, 25-12, 25-18.
