Flatonia Falls to Bremond in OT

It will be a game Bremond fans will remember for a long time, and one Flatonia fans will have a tough time forgetting.

In an epic regional semifinal playoff game between a pair of teams which arrived in Rockdale Friday both with 11-1 records, Bremond defeated Flatonia 41-35 in overtime. In a game Flatonia led 14-0 and later 20-7 at halftime, Bremond scored the game tying touchdown and ensuing extra point with just 32 second left in regulation.

Then in overtime, Flatonia was on offense first but Bremond intercepted a Bulldog pass on a fourth-and-eight play.

Then Bremond overcame a pair of penalties during their overtime possession, converted a fourth down followed by a 20-yard touchdown run by JT Anthony for the game winner.
