Rotter

Carolyn Rotter, 79, of La Grange, passed away on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019.

Carolyn was born in La Grange on May 6, 1940, the daughter of William John and Erna (Naumann) Rotter.

Carolyn worked as an office secretary for Farm Bureau for 42 years.

She was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville. Carolyn taught Sunday School and Bible Study and often volunteered with her church.

Carolyn loved sewing, hunting, spending time with her dear family and friends, and being active within her community

She was a member of the WLCA, and assisted with making and donating quilts with the WLCA. She frequently volunteered with AMEN helping to distribute food to those in need.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Reverend Willie Rotter and wife, Lillian of La Grange; nephew, Mark Rotter and wife, Sabina of Eagle Lake; and greatnephew, Bruno Rotter of La Grange.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Matthew Rotter.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020 at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations from 12 to 6 p.m. The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m.

Funeral Services were held at St. John Lutheran Church in Ruttersville at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.
