Flatonia Officer Assaulted

A Flatonia police officer has been placed on sick leave after being injured in a fight with a resident. On the evening of Sept. 12,

Flatonia police officer Joe Gonzales was attempting to issue Timothy Muras a criminal trespass warning at his residence on

the 300 block of East 4th St. in Flatonia.
