Fredde Lee Fritsch

Fredde Lee Fritsch, 90, of La Grange died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. Fredde Lee was born in La Grange on Jan. 15, 1924, the son of Fritz and Elsa (Voelkel) Fritsch. He married Agnes J. Harbers on Dec. 14, 1952 at Trinity Hill Lutheran Church. Fredde Lee owned and operated a dairy farm with his wife since 1950 and after retiring in 1976 from the dairy business, he continued raising cattle on his ranch. He is survived by daughter, Sue Ann Stavinoha and husband, Donnie, of Richmond and son, Lee Fritsch and wife, Phyllis, of La Grange; two granddaughters: Jenna Stavinoha of Houston and Emily Fritsch of La Grange; and sister, Evelyn Tietjen of La Grange. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Agnes Fritsch, who died Nov. 29, 2010; and grandson, Justin Stavinoha. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 427 S. Washington in La Grange, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014.
