DeAlva Doris Kovar
DeAlva Doris Kovar, 84, of El Paso died Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Hospice El Paso Center of Compassionate Care.
The daughter of Ella Mae (Henry) Rheinboldt and George Rheinboldt, DeAlva was born in Houston Sept. 25, 1929. After
the death of her natural parents she was adopted by Fred J. and Jessie Josephine (Matzke) Petrich of Patterson. DeAlva married Edwin “Eddie” Kovar on Aug. 19, 1962, and moved to San Felipe where she worked and raised a family. Most important to her was the time she spent with her family but she also loved music and dancing. DeAlva is survived by her
brother, Leonard Petrich ofRound Top, two children, Gordon Kovar of Sealy and Nethia Kelly of El Paso and her grandchildren Megan Powell of Dallas, and Sam and Kyle Kelly of El Paso. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frydek with internment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Frydek.
