Wilbert Alvin Mueller

Wilbert Alvin Mueller, 74 of La Grange died Sept. 30, 2014. Wilbert was born on Jan. 9, 1940 in La Grange to Alvin Mueller

and Edna Albers Mueller. He married Mary Chovanec on Sept. 24, 1966 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. He was self-employed in the agriculture industry. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus

Council #2574 and the Fayette County Farm Bureau. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Mary; two sisters, Mildred Frenzel and husband Leslie and Nila Kneip; two brothers-inlaw, Edward Chovanec, Frank Chovanec and wife Alice and one sister-in-law, Georgie Kossa; twelve nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death 

by his parents; three brothersin- law, Charles Chovanec, Ronald Kneip and George Kossa. Visitation was held on Oct.

2, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family received visitors from 5 to 7

p.m. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart

Catholic Church in La Grange. Interment will follow in the La Grange City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange or the KC Council #2574 Scholarship Fund. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
