Flu Concerns Spike

The flu is hitting so hard in some areas that schools have temporarily shut down, as happened in Hallettsville last week.

We checked in with Hermes Elementary in La Grange where the school nurse noted “an increase in the number of lower level (PreK, K, lower elementary grade) students presenting with symptoms of flu A and strep.”
