Dorothy “Dottie” Marie (Drab) Lyssy, 79, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014. Dottie was born in Crosby on March 18, 1935, the daughter of Charles A. Drab and Tonie M. (Chovanec) Drab. Dorothy married Steve Lyssy on Dec. 29, 1984.
After graduating from high school, Dottie worked for Crosby State Bank. She then worked for Humble Refinery in Baytown
and Cibolo Manufacturing in Jourdanton. Dottie also owned and operated a feed store in Pleasanton. She is survived by her husband, Steve, of 29 years; two sons: Jamie Crockett of Baytown  and Charles “Chuck” Crockett of Pleasanton; daughter-in-law, Heather Crockett of Deer Park; grandson, Caleb Crockett of Deer Park; sister, Pat Sury of Fayetteville; brother, Charles Drab and wife, Sandy, of Dripping Springs; three nephews and four nieces. She was preceded in death
by her parents; and infant brother, James Edward Drab. Visitation was held on  Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Knesek Chapel located at 207 Live Oak St. in Fayetteville. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 205 E. Bell
St. in Fayetteville, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, 2014. Internment will follow at a later date. Memorial contributions may 
be made to St. John the Baptist Altar Society, P.O. Box 57, Fayetteville, Texas 78940 or a charity of one’s choice. Family and friends can view and sign the guestbook online at www.lagrangefunerals.com. Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements
