Groundwater Stays Here Official Says

Water marketers haven’t inquired about tapping Fayette County aquifers yet, but an oil company sought permission to drill a well in the county and pipe the water to its oil well in an adjacent county, according to Fayette County Groundwater Conservation District general manager David Van Dresar. Van Dresar told the company to look closer to home.
