Schulenburg Pursuing Open Market Electricity

After an executive session with an energy consultant on Oct. 6, the Schulenburg city council agreed to make an application to exercise an option under their long-term electricity contract with the LCRA which might reduce the cost of power the city provides to industrial and residential customers.
