Pauline Margaret (Esparza) Luna

Pauline Margaret (Esparza) Luna, 65, of La Grange died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. Pauline was born in Houston on Aug. 6, 1949, the daughter of Marcus and Carmine (Hernandez) Esparza. She married Eulojio Luna on March 8, 1988 in Weimar.

Pauline worked as a janitorial supervisor for ten years. She loved to shop, dance and enjoyed watching butterflies. She is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Eulojio Luna; two sons: Frank Luna of La Grange; Mark Anthony Luna and wife, Guadalupe, of Houston; two daughters: Tina Luna and husband, Enrique Romero, of La Grange; Francine Herrera  and  husband, Faustino, of La Grange; four sisters: Gloria Avilia and husband, Manuel, of Houston; Irene Riehs of Houston; Esther Maturino of La Grange; Elizabeth Torres of Houston; two brothers: John Esparza and wife, Stella, of Houston; Michael Esparza and wife, Lydia, of Houston; 16 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ericka Torres; and sister, Frances Benfer. 

Visitation was held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family will  receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014.
