Reinhardt

Funeral services for Florence Reinhardt, 92, of Serbin were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Florence Marie (Driessner) Reinhardt was born on March 26, 1927 in Serbin to Otto Emil and Marie Martha (Bohot) Driessner. Florence was united in marriage to Arnold Walter Louis Reinhardt on Oct. 6, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin by Rev. Herman Schmidt. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Jim and Lucille.

Florence passed away the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange.

Florence is survived by her two children, Jim Reinhardt and his wife, Tracy of Magnolia and Lucille Halpern and her husband, Philip of San Antonio; four grandchildren, Allison Boerger and her husband, Matthew of San Antonio, Kellye Halpern of San Antonio, Sarah Reinhardt of Magnolia and Corey Reinhardt of Magnolia; and one great granddaughter, Hazel Boerger of San Antonio.

Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund in Serbin or to the charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings.
