Legion, Auxiliary

The American Legion Post 102 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 102 will meet on Wednesday, March 11 at 6 p.m. at the VFW Home located at Veterans Memorial Drive in La Grange. March is designated as the Birthday Month of the American Legion. Members of the Post and Unit are invited to attend, as well as potential new members to help us celebrate the date when the Legion came to life. A catered meal will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Democratic Party

The monthly meeting of the Fayette County Democratic Party will be held Thursday, March 12 at 6 p.m. at the La Grange City Hall, 155 E. Colorado Street. The main topics on the agenda are to canvass the results of the primary election and to discuss the Democratic County Convention which will be held in the meeting room of the Fayette Memorial Library & Heritage Museum, 855 S. Jefferson, La Grange on Saturday, March 21 at 10 a.m. For more information about the county convention, contact David McCall at chair@fayettetxdemocrats.org.
