Fayette County Grand Jury Hands Down Indictments

Fayette County Attorney Peggy Supak reports that the Fayette County Grand Jury met recently. A Grand Jury indictment  is not an indication of guilt, but rather that the jury beleives there is enough evidence in a case to warrant a trial. The following indictments  were handed down in the month of December: Joseph Andre Baumbach, 31, of Columbus, for the alleged assault on or about Nov. 4 of a dating relation as reported by Schulenburg Officer Christopher Mayfield.
