NVCC Continues to Make Masks
The ladies at Navidad Valley Community Connections continue to be busy working from home on mask creations. The group is following CDC guidelines for masks, the material used is varied. All three are layered and 100 percent cotton. The ladies have completed most community organizational requests, so NVCC will consider making masks for individuals, especially the elderly.
While restrictions on activities are loosening up, everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant, especially for those who are in the vulnerable population category, regardless of age. According to Craig Moreau on KBUK/KVLG, “Next week is the most important week if you are a member of a vulnerable population.” He went on to further explain that as people return to some activities, he expects there will be a spike in the number of coronavirus outbreaks. He also reminded everyone to wear a mask when you are in public.
