Muster Oak Photographed For National Geographic

By VIRGINIA LEECH
A search for trees with significant stories to tell has led National Geographic photographers to La Grange where the Muster Tree on the Square has historically been the gathering place for La Grange militia and modern military members since the 1840s. Diane Cook and Len Jenshel, the New York City couple team, are traveling the world and photographing trees, not for their beauty but for their stories.
