One Local Woman Injured, Another Dead After Weekend Wrecks

A pair of highway wrecks over the weekend claimed the life of one local woman and sent another woman to the hospital. An accident involving a travel trailer on US 77 shut down traffic at the Bluff for a few hours on Saturday evening. According to a report from the Texas Highway Patrol, the travel trailer was pulled by a tan 2003 GMC pickup heading north on US 77. The rig was driven by 63 year old Brian Lunn.
