Mayors Win Re-Election

Voters in three Fayette County communities all sent the same message – and did so emphatically – in voting Saturday. That message was that they like things the way they are. Longtime mayors in La Grange and Fayetteville were re-elected. Meanwhile a controversial vote to incorporate the community of Ellinger into a city was voted down by a 90 to 26 margin.
