Jerry “Gerald” Lentz

Jerry “Gerald” Lentz was born on Sept. 11, 1925 in Electra, Texas and grew up riding horses in the ranching communities surrounding Vernon. Shemoved to Houston in 1942. She and her husband, Edwin, retired to their farm in Round Top in 1985, restored a historic house and ran a successful bed and breakfast. In 2004, they moved to La Grange where Edwin passed away in 2010. Jerry was a devoted homemaker, who loved cooking, reading, sewing, quilting, gardening and especially growing roses. She was always very proud of her home and family. She enjoyed spending time on Festival Hill where she was an active volunteer and rarely missed hearing James Dick perform.
