Fayette Co. Declared Federal Disaster Area

President Obama signed a declaration on June 11 designating Fayette County as a disaster area eligible for individual assistance due to the Memorial Day flooding and tornado damage. When a property owner who sustained damage during the May flood (and subsequent tornadoes) registers with FEMA, the property owner becomes eligible for a Damaged Housing Inspection.
