Ignacio Perez

Ignacio Perez, 78 of Ellinger, died unexpectedly July 3, 2015 near Ellinger. Ignacio was born on Sept. 23, 1936 in Nombre de Dios Michoacán, Mexico to Guadalupe Perez and Eulalia Mendez Perez. He was a retired deburring operator in the aerospace industry. He enjoyed walking to Hruska’s, helping others, lengthy conversations with friends, visiting his nephew Javier Perez in Washington and travelling to Mexico. He is survived by his exwife; Yolanda Galan, two daughters; Norma Lopez and husband Silvestre and Bianca Torres and husband Efrain, four sons; Hector, Alan, Rafael and Jose, five grandchildren; Reina Perez, Raymond Perez, Lorenzo Perez, Vincent Perez and Alessandro Perez; three sisters; two brothers; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Visitation was held Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family received visitors from 4 to 7 p.m. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 015 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellinger. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Ellinger. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellinger. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
