Elvie Lou Luetge

Elvie Lou Luetge, of Washington D.C. (formerly of Austin) died at her home on June 28, 2015.
Elvie Lou was born in Houston to Otto and Elvira (Mayer) Luetge. At a young age her family moved to Shelby where she attended Round Top-Carmine Schools. After graduation she moved to Austin where she attended and graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Elvie Lou is survived by her brother, Kenneth Luetge and his wife, Audrey of Georgetown; two aunts, Rose Mayer of La Grange and Ann Scholtz, of Austin, and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Elvira Luetge. Memorial Services are pending. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Foundry United Methodist Church at 1500 16th Street NW, Washington D.C. 20036 or St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 606 West 15th Street, Austin, Texas 78701 or to the charity of one’s choice.
