Charles “T.C.” Williams, 85, of La Grange died July 24, 2015 in Austin. He was born on June 30, 1930 to Henry and Pearl (White) Williams in Weimar. On March 11, 1981 he married Ollie Moore. “T.C.” previously worked for U-Tex in Weimar and was currently owner/operator of his own cemetery grave service. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in La Grange and served in the US Army from July 5, 1946 to Jan. 30, 1947. “T.C.” is survived by his wife, Ollie B. Williams of La Grange; daughters, Myra Woodberry of San Diego, Calif., and Rochelle Williams of Atlanta, Ga.; son, Ricky Williams of Orlando, Fla.; sister, Elner Hicks of Waukegan, Ill.; four grandchildren, Natasha Young, Anthony Young, Antoine Duhe and Rashawn Williams; five great-grandchildren, Tyrell Williams, Amara Christi, Chloe Young, Anthony Young II, and Morgan Young. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Elijah Spencer, Levester Williams, Henry Williams, and Rufus Williams, and sisters, Mercedes Davis, Lina D. Williams, Lela Steward, and Cora Mae Williams Smith. Visitation will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 beginning at 2 p.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus with Rev. Austin Jones officiating. Burial will take place in La Grange City Cemetery in La Grange. Pallbearers are William “Rock” Newsome, Kenneth Fenix, Ronald Hunt, Ricky Fenix, John Daniels and Tommy Martin.
