Fires in Shed, House Spark This Week
Two fires in two days kept a pair of Fayette County fire departments busy early this week. On Monday, August 17, the Carmine Volunteer Fire Department
received a call about a shed on fire near the “Y” in Carmine. A 911 call came in at 3:27 p.m. Carmine firefighter responded along with Deputy Steve Nelson.
