Artist Tackles La Grange’s ‘Most Beautiful Eyesore’
Charlie Brewer, who has restored ten historic homes inthis area, has taken on a new challenge – the historic Von Minden home located at a high point where Von Minden Road intersects SH 71 Bypass in La Grange. Brewer knows she has a big job ahead, but she calls the stately, but neglected, Victorian structure, “La Grange’s most beautiful eyesore.”
