Hermine Emma Louise (Menzel) Vogel Zoch, 104, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at the Giddings Residence and Rehabilitation

Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating.

Burial followed in the church cemetery. She was born on Nov. 22, 1910 in Serbin, the daughter of Gerhard and Martha (Wukasch)

Menzel. She was united in marriage to John A. Vogel on Oct. 26, 1930. Following John’s death, Hermine married Willie A. Zoch on Nov. 19, 1971.

Hermine is survived by daughter, Doris and Erwin Fritsche of Northrup; granddaughter, Carol and Glen “Skip” Wobus of Smithville;

two grandsons, Rodney Fritsche of Giddings and David and Michele Fritsche of Northrup; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren;

three step-daughters, as well as a host of step-grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, step-great, great-grandchildren and numerous

nieces and nephews. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
