Irving Floeck

 Funeral services for Irving Floeck, 86 of Giddings, were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Giddings with Pastor Chris Harrison officiating.  Burial followed in the Ledbetter Cemetery in Ledbetter. Irving was born on May 11, 1929 in Houston to Adolph and Margaret (Stich) Floeck. He married Eleanor (Fisher) Knight  on Sept. 17, 1965 in Houston. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Floeck of Giddings; four sons, Richard Floeck and- LaVerne Wright of Giddings, Jimmy and Lisa Floeck of  Waller, Ron and Paula Knight of Azle and Bobby and Bobbye Knight of Giddings; two daughters, Tommie and Stephen Crites of Frankston and Connie and Dean Cooper of Giddings; twelve grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Memorials may be made  to the Lee County Cancer Resource Center, 165 West Austin Street, Giddings, Texas 78942 or to the charity of one’s choice. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
