KatySweet Pulls Plug on Planned Downtown Expansion

Downtown La Grange had a rude awakening from the sweet dream of a candy shop on the square last week. KatySweet Confectioners confirmed that they are selling the former D&Z Man’s Shop building at 245 W. Travis St. which they purchased from Harvey Dippel and James Zapalac in February. The location was to have become the firm’s local retail outlet and sales office.
