Lady Lions Win Volleyball Playoff Opener

The Fayetteville Lady Lions volleyball team knocked off Waelder 25-6, 25-12, 25-12 to win their 1A bidistrict volleyball playoff match Monday in Flatonia. The Lady Lions were led by Haley Bertsch and Brittany Brune, who tied for the team high in kills with four.
