Weimar Beats Schulenburg in Regional Final

BRENHAM – The defending state champion Schulenburg volleyball team came within one win of qualifying for the state tournament for the fourth consecutive year. But in an intense match between Highway 90 neighbors and longtime rivals, Weimar downed the Lady Horns 25-22, 25-19, 25-17 in the 2A regional finals Saturday in Brenham.
