Carmine VFD Receives Bluebonnet Electric Grant

Carmine Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded a grant from Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative Inc. to purchase a new Rescue & Rehab truck. They had a special called  meeting on Nov. 16 with fourteen members in attendance and voted to accept the grant, for which they are very thankful. The truck has been ordered and it will take about six months for it to be completed. It will be used to serve the community and surrounding area for medical emergency situations.
