Lane Pool Crossing Damaged
The low water crossing at Lane Pool Road southeast of La Grange has been closed due to renovations at the Lane Pool Creek crossing. Pct. 4 Commissioner Tom Muras said his crew closed the crossing last week after noticing that one of the old steel culvert pipes had nearly rusted away, leaving a two-to three-foot void under the concrete roadway.
