Staying Connected

Staying connected – a phrase that can mean so many things. Growing up during the 1960s and 1970s, staying connected for me had many different meanings. It meant writing letters to friends when one of them moved away (or when I did). I remember writing those letters and then waiting days or weeks for a response. It was always so exciting to get a letter from a friend that you hadn’t seen in a long time. I even had a pen pal in Germany.
