Consider Going to Church This Christmas

During the Christmas season my family and I read Chuck Dickens’ masterpiece, A Christmas Carol, to help us get in the Christmas Spirit. Last week, as we enjoyed the Ghost of Christmas present joyfully guiding Scrooge through the city, I was struck by the following description: “But soon the steeples called good people all, to church and chapel, and away they came, flocking through the streets in their best clothes, and with their gayest faces.”
