Alma M. Mynar
Alma M. Mynar, 93, of Caldwell died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 in Caldwell. A Chapel service was held Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Phillips & Luckey Chapel, with Bro. Delmar McCracken officiating. Burial was in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery. Alma was born in the Prairie Dale Community of Burleson County to parents Frank Havemann and Margaret (Able) Havemann. She married Edward Mynar June 2, 1940 in the Birch Community. Alma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Mynar; a son, Ben Edward Mynar; three sisters, Ruby Jahns, Edna DeForke, and Ellanor Homeyer; and three brothers, Alex Havemann, Roy Havemann, and Frankie Havemann. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Knesek of Caldwell; a brother-in-law Eugene Homeyer of La Grange; two grandsons, Kenneth Mynar and Ben Edward Mynar II and wife Danette; a step-grandson, Donny Baron Jr.; three great-granddaughters, Kacee Peterson and husband Joseph, Korey Dodson and husband Cole, and April Mynar; a great-grandson, Triston Mynar; three step great-grandchildren Shane, Ashley and Joshua Baron; and also by one great-great grandson, Bentley Dodson. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell was in charge of arrangements.
