Melvin Donald Fulkerson

Melvin Donald Fulkerson, 80, died peacefully at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple on Jan. 3, 2016. Melvin was born on July 8, 1935 in Muldoon. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Master Mason. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1982 with a degree in education. Melvin is survived by his sons, Forrest Zane Fulkerson, James Fulkerson, and their brother, Bret Fulkerson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bertha May Holstein Lowe and James Franklin Fulkerson, his sisters, Myrtle and Dorothy, brother, Charlie, his twin brother, Marvin, and his son, Marc. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2016 in the chapel at Pitman Cemetery in Muldoon, followed by graveside services at the family plot.
