Leland J. Stolar

Leland J. Stolar, 59, of La Grange, and formerly of Columbus, died Jan. 11, 2016 in Austin. He was born on Feb. 4, 1956 to Calvin Stolar and Martha (Corliss) Stolar in Fayetteville. On June 1, 1974 he married Ann Marie Reese. Leland is survived by his wife, Ann Stolar of La Grange; daughter, Jennifer Stolar and fiancée Matt Srubar of La Grange; son, Richard Stolar and  wife Jennifer of Glidden; sisters, Virginia Heller and husband Mike of Yoakum, Clara Vasek and husband Billy of Frelsburg, Mary Brom and husband Bob of Glidden, Georgie Hoelscher and husband Stephan of Columbus, and Judy Weaver and husband Walter of Columbus; brother, Larry Stolar and Darlene Bertsch of Columbus; six grandchildren, Matthew “Monkey Butt” James Srubar, Jr., Elizabeth Stolar, Ross. T. Arcos, Jesse Arcos, Dylan Arcos, and Matthew Arcos. Memorial services were held on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, 10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus with Rev. Melvin Harris officiating. Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice.
