Devon Boehnke’s Granddaughter Competing in Olympic Swim Trials

The Olympic Swim Team Trials are going on in Omaha, Neb. and Muldoon has a connection. Devon Boehnke’s granddaughter, Joy Field, is competing in two events. She is swimming in the 400-meter freestyle and the 800-meter freestyle races for a chance to go to the Olympics in Rio. At this time she has swam in the four hundred meter race. She did not qualify, but did manage to come in twenty ninth overall with less than her best time. At the time of this writing she has not swam the eight hundred which is her better race. Results on that will be forthcoming in the following column.
