Arno Adolph Kautz

Arno Adolph Kautz, 83, of Frelsburg, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 following a brief illness. Arno was born in Frelsburg on Sept. 26, 1932, the son of Adolph Johannes Kautz and Lina Emma (Minssen) Kautz. He was baptized on Oct. 30, 1932 by Pastor Otto Lindenberg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Frelsburg. Arno was a lifelong confirmed member of this church. He is survived by sister, Doris Bruedigan; sister and brother-in-law, Verlin and Howard Kruse, all of Brenham; brother-in-law, Emmett Stork, of Adkins; and numerous family members. Funeral services were held at Trinity Lutheran Church of Frelsburg at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Interment followed at the Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery.
