Horace Johnny Farrack

Horace Johnny Farrack, 74, of Giddings, died on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at his residence Horace was born on April 4, 1942 in Temple, the son of Ernest Alfred Sr. and Ella Otillie (Hanusch) Farrack. He was united in marriage with Elvira Schubert on Sept. 26, 1964 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor by Rev. Andrew Szegedin. This union was blessed by one daughter, Diana. Horace loved polka music, gardening, fishing, attending his granddaughter’s softball and volleyball games, talking about family history and attending family reunions Horace is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elvira Farrack of Giddings; one daughter, Diana and her husband, Dwayne Schulze of Paige; one granddaughter, Emily Schulze of Paige; Brother, Ernest and his wife, Sara Farrack of Walburg; one sister, Marie Randig of Manor; two brothers-in-law, Ray Schubert and his wife, Carolyn, and Martin Schubert and his wife, Julie; three sisters-in-law, Helen Marx and her husband, Clarence, Alda Bess Schubert, and Mary Schubert, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Horace Farrack, 74 of Giddings, were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor, with Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
